For optimal results, avoid using this fluid where MERCON SP, MERCON LV, or DEXRON VI is required. Additionally, Castrol does not recommend using this fluid in continuously variable transmissions (CVTs) or where Ford Type F or GM DEXRON-VI fluids are required.
